Born and raised in Hawaii, Lyndsay Marie Farias attended Mid Pacific’s School of the Arts where she began her dance training. She moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California. In less than 4 years she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, being number one in her class for the Letters, Arts, and Sciences Department of USC. While in school she also continued her dance training at studios such as The Edge Performing Arts Center, Debbie Reynolds, Millennium Dance Complex, and was a member of the USC Dance Repertory Company. Her dance career started when she signed with DDO Artists Agency right after graduating.
While signed with DDO, Lyndsay booked jobs in various facets of the entertainment industry, including National Commercials, TV Promos, Live Shows, Music Videos, Fitness Infomercials, and also assisted a variety of working choreographers. She was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some of the most prominent figures in the industry, such as Marguerite Derricks, Rich and Tone Talauega, Eddie Garcia, Francis Lawrence, and credits include making the top 15 of a nation-wide Chanel Model Search.
Lyndsay quickly learned that in order to have a successful career in this industry, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential. She developed a passion for fitness and nutrition and earned her certification as a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She believes that a consistent fitness and nutrition regime go hand in hand with training and excelling as a working dancer.
Having experienced the entertainment industry from the talent’s perspective, Lyndsay is equipped to guide and inspire dancers on their path to a successful career. Her expertise in both dance and fitness allow her to provide a uniquely high level of service that is personalized for every client. This hands-on approach has contributed to MTA's stellar reputation, and the team looks forward to continuing to bring representation to a new level.
In late 2015, Lyndsay was made partner at MTA and is responsible for the overall development of the dance and sports divisions.
