Anabel Juco was born and raised in Mission Viejo, CA where she began her dance training in local studios throughout Orange County. She competed both with her local studio as well as her high school dance team and won multiple regional and national titles, including the Shirley A. Wedge Dance Scholarship two years in a row. She attended Orange Coast College where she was a member of the dance team for three years. In 2011, the OCC dance team was chosen to represent the US as Team USA in the ICU World Cheerleading and Dance Championship, where they won gold – Anabel’s first world dance title. She then transferred to California State University, Fullerton and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Entertainment and Tourism Studies in 2015.

During her college years, Anabel was a member of PACE Elite, an all-star dance team, where she won two more ICU world titles and twelve USASF world titles, which brought her to a total of fifteen dance world champion titles. In 2014, she was nominated for “Best International Dance Celebrity of the Year” at the International Spirit Cheer & Dance Awards. Between school and her competitive all-star dance team, Anabel also worked as a dance teacher for her local studios, worked as a coach for high school and college dance teams around Southern California, and taught dance camps and workshops throughout the US and Japan.

Anabel began her transition from the competitive dance world to the commercial dance world when she was hired as an intern at The Movement Dance Agency in the Fall of 2014. She quickly learned about the commercial dance industry and developed a passion to take her dance career to the next level, and as a result, was signed shortly after her internship. Anabel loves being part of the MTA team and loves that she not only gets to see her fellow clients at auditions, but also gets to help them book jobs, too!
