Growing up in a family of music educators, Kurt spent his childhood singing and dancing. He continued to study dance through college while pursuing a BA in music management. After graduating, he spent his first few years as the emcee for live events with ESPN and the Capital One Cup including the NBA All Star Game, the 2008 NBA Finals, Men’s College World Series, BCS Championship Game, and Men’s NCAA Final Four. After returning to his home state of Wisconsin, Kurt began teaching dance and choreographing performance groups. Realizing his true passion was on the business end of entertainment, he moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue a career as a talent agent. Starting his career in commercials with 90210 Talent, he quickly transitioned from intern to Jr agent and ultimately head of the print department. He continued working in commercials at SBV Talent before landing at The Movement. He is very excited to be with the MTA family where he can use his experience in both sports and dance.
