Litza Bixler – Bio
Litza Bixler is a multidisciplinary choreographer, movement director, and filmmaker known for crafting visually rich, physically dynamic worlds for screen, stage, and beyond. With a career spanning internationally acclaimed films, award-winning commercials, and experimental stage works, she brings a surreal and cinematic sensibility to everything she creates.
As Artistic Director of Litzabixler Performance for six years, she produced innovative stage pieces and received multiple grants supporting her visionary work. On screen, she has choreographed and directed movement for major film productions, music videos, and high-profile advertising campaigns.
Her original television series Blood, Water, Dust is currently in development and being pitched to HBO and Amazon Prime. She has written three feature films and is producing a documentary series inspired by How to Be an Anticapitalist in the 21st Century by Erik Olin Wright.
Litza is also an educator and creativity coach, known for her work guiding artists across disciplines in physical, emotional, and creative development. She has taught and created work internationally, drawing on her lived experiences in the U.S., Mexico, and the U.K.
